Eintracht Frankfurt media technology at the ProfiCamp

For the upcoming move to Eintracht’s new headquarters, Im Herzen von Europa, the digitization strategy was to be consistently pursued. To this end, FORTÉ was commissioned to plan the media technology and video conferencing systems in the entire administration building and ProfiCamp.

The scope not only consisted of a large number of conference rooms with video conferencing systems. A tactical cinema, the internal fitness studio and the changing room were also equipped with innovative media technology. The customer’s requirements were clear – contemporary media technology was to be integrated, with a very high standard of user-friendliness.

FORTÉ assisted in the development of the technical concept, the definition of the required use cases and the standardization of the media technology. During the construction project, FORTÉ ‘s specialist planning team was in constant close contact with the client’s contacts and the other trades involved.

The integration phase – FORTÉ in the Frankfurt Eintracht team

For the integration phase in Frankfurt, FORTÉ and its experienced team of technicians worked side by side with the client’s real estate team and IT department. The modern meeting rooms and special areas with media technology were completed in time for the opening of the new building.

As a partner of Eintracht Frankfurt, LG was of course a must when selecting the manufacturers. A large number of professional displays were installed throughout the building. A BYOD approach was taken for the video conferencing systems, which enables the platform-independent use of Teams, Zoom, Webex and other video conferencing services. Biamp Devio solutions and Huddly iQ video conferencing cameras were also installed in the smaller conference rooms.

In the larger conference rooms, high-performance Shure Microflex ceiling microphones and PTZ video cameras from AVer were used. The signal management and media controls were implemented on the basis of the leading Crestron NVX series. The latest generation of Mersive Solstice pods also enabled users to transmit wireless content. Canton – another Eintracht partner – was responsible for the audio part.

In the high-quality conference rooms in Frankfurt am Main, the association not only relied on the best media technology. Design also played a major role. This is why the media furniture from Holzmedia was used.
