Our history

  • 2003
    In 2003, a major investment was made in new and innovative AV media technology for meeting rooms in the office towers of an international financial group in Frankfurt am Main. Despite an intensive search, a capable company was not found to operate the system. The desire for a professional company to operate the media technology quickly became apparent - the birth of GMS.
  • 2008
    Initially working for just one major customer, a new shareholder and new management joined GMS in 2008. From this point on, the many years of technical experience and professional services were made available to other customers and international expansion was sought.
  • Today
    Today FORTÉ (formerly GMS) employs specialists in technical planning, IoT, smart building, media technicians and a wide range of talents to successfully complete our projects. Our customer base consists of a number of renowned international companies, including several DAX companies. In addition to our headquarters in Schwalbach, we have also been operating a centrally located showroom in the Westendtower in Frankfurt am Main since fall 2023.

FORTÉ is an international, manufacturer-independent full-service provider specializing in audio-visual (AV) media technology, video conferencing systems, unified communications and smart buildings.

With professional services and managed services, FORTÉ supports the entire life cycle of media technology, media control and video conferencing systems - from conception to installation and operation. Today, FORTÉ employs specialists in technical planning, IoT, smart building, media technology and a wide range of talents to successfully complete our projects. In addition to its headquarters in Schwalbach near Frankfurt, the company also maintains on-site teams at customers throughout Germany. The service provider is also a member of the GPA - a global association of leading solution providers in the field of unified communications.
